문화예술은 마음을 하나로 만드는 힘이 있습니다. 누구나 향유자가 될 수 있고 다 함께 폭넓고 풍요로운 삶을 살아갈 기회를 제공해줍니다. 이곳에 모인 여러분들이 예술을 통해 사람과 사람으로 관계를 맺고, 기쁨과 성취를 느끼길 바랍니다.

한국 예술은 세계무대를 향해 한 단계 더 도약했습니다.

나아가 세계인들이 예술의 언어로 평화와 자유 그리고 행복을 공감할 수 있게 되었습니다.

이러한 의미에서 국제문화예술연맹은 언어와 국경, 제도를 뛰어넘어 소통하고 교류할 수 있는 계기가 되길 진심으로 기원합니다.

Culture and arts have the power to unite the mind.

It provides an opportunity for anyone to become an enjoyer and lead a wide and prosperous life together. I hope that all of you gathered here will connect with people and feel joy and accomplishment through art.

Korean art has taken a step further towards the world stage.

Furthermore, people around the world can empathize with peace, freedom and happiness through the language of art. In this sense,

the International Culture & Arts Federation sincerely hopes that it will be an opportunity to communicate and exchange across languages, borders and institutions.

예술에는 전 세계 어떤 인종이든지를 막론하고 사람 그 자체에 대한 깊은 이해와 성찰을 도울 수 있는 힘이 있습니다. 즉 전통·신념·가치 및 인생관 등은 모두 우리가 생산해내는 건축·패션·음악·영화·무용·회화·조각·사진 등과 같은 예술작품을 통해 빛을 발합니다. 이렇듯 우리는 예술 없이는 우리의 삶을 오롯이 볼 수 없습니다. 나아가 전 세계의 예술가들은 예술이라는 보편적 언어를 통해 정신적·물리적 의사소통을 함으로써 세계 시민들이 서로 간의 문화적 다양성을 이해하는데 가교 역할을 할 것입니다. 국제문화예술연맹의 목적은 국내외 문화예술의 발전과 확산을 통해 21세기 전 세계 시민이 하나 될 수 있게 하는데 있습니다. 이에 우리 연맹은 전 세계 예술인들과 함께 예술의 가치를 국제아트페스티벌과 같은 국제적인 활동으로 발현시킴으로써 21세기 세계 시민들이 서로를 공감하고 이해할 수 있는 문화예술의 장을 만드는데 이바지하고자 합니다.

Art has the power to help people of all races, from all over the world, gain a deeper understanding and reflection on who they are. In other words, our traditions, beliefs, values, and outlook on life all shine through the works of art we produce, such as architecture, fashion, music, film, dance, painting, sculpture, and photography. As such, we cannot see our lives fully without art. Furthermore, artists from around the world will serve as a bridge for global citizens to understand each other’s cultural diversity by communicating mentally and physically through the universal language of art. The purpose of the International Federation of Arts and Cultures is to unite citizens of the world in the 21st century through the development and spread of domestic and international arts and culture. Accordingly, our federation aims to contribute to creating a cultural and artistic venue where 21st century global citizens can empathize and understand each other by expressing the value of art through international activities such as international art festivals together with artists from around the world.
