우리를 둘러싼 환경이 매우 복잡하고 빠르게 변화되는 즈음입니다. 이런 시대, 매일매일 사건이 발생하는 환경에 휩쓸리지 않고 삶에 중심을 세우는 일은 쉽지 않습니다. 그러나 개인의 행복과 개인이 모인 사회가 바른 방향으로 나가기 위해 이것은 중요한 일입니다. 저는 이 삶의 중심을 세우는 것에 예술과 교육이 기여하는 바가 매우 크다고 믿습니다. 개인이 사회적 환경으로부터 자유로울 수 없지만 삶의 가치는 궁극적으로 자기 자신이 쌓아야 하는 것이기 때문입니다.
내가 중요하게 생각하는 것은 무엇인가. 내가 속한 공동체를 위해 나는 무엇을 해나가야 하는 가. 그것을 위한 훈련에 준비가 되어있는가.
교육은 이 질문을 던지는 일이고 예술은 결과물 가운데 가장 궁극적인 대답이라고 생각합니다. The environment around us is very complex and rapidly changing.
In this age, it is not easy to set the center of your life without being swept away by the environment in which events occur every day. However, this is important for personal happiness and for society to move in the right direction.
I believe that the arts and education can make a huge contribution to building the center of this life.
This is because an individual cannot be freed from the social environment, but the value of life is ultimately something he must build for himself.
What do I consider important?
What should I do for the community I belong to?
Are you ready to train for it?
Education is to ask this question, and I think art is the ultimate answer among the results.
